(Belgian, 1599-1641) 17th C., oil and grisaille on panel, verso bears traces of illegible writing on brown backer paper. Jacobus de Cachopin (Flemish, 1578-1642) was a master engraver in the studio of Peter Paul Rubens. Engravings of him can be found in the British Museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
