After John Frederick Herring, Sr. (British, 1795-1865), unsigned. The barn pictured is believed to depict Herring's home at Meopham Park, Kent: his residence from 1852 until his death. Similar versions of this picture were sold at Christie's London, June 8th, 2006, Lot 72 and at Bonhams London, March 2nd, 2016, Lot 39. An engraving of this picture by G.
