Durand and Co. 14K ladies vanity/compact/purse in gold mesh. Engine turned decorated compact monogramed with an 'A and V', with two blue sapphire cabochons at clasps and seed pearl tassels. Stamped D and 14K. Combination purse with alternating hinges, one hinge opens to the compact mirror (losses to the mirror) and well to hold rouge/lipstick. The second hinge opens to the mesh purse pocket 13"l and appx. 47.65 dwt.
