Handpainted Landscape Milk Glass Vase together with a handpainted floral pottery piece, likely a lamp shade. The milk glass vase has been drilled to be used as a lampshade and depicts a sailing scene with expansive blue skies above, a pair of goats on the shoreline admiring the view. The milk glass has some discolor, possibly due to an applied varnish and there are some small paint losses mainly along base but also a few about the body also. The floral painted pottery example is impressed stamped FMC on its interior wall, possibly Faience Manufacturing Company. It has several cracks, glaze crazing, and some paint losses to its floral decoration. Milk glass appx 9-3/4"h x 5-1/4"d x 7"w. Floral piece is appx 4-1/4"h x 6-1/2"dia.
