Five Framed Collections of Religious Icons

From the church in Tinos, Greece, these icons are called Tamatas. Including, gold, silver, and base metal examples. They are hung by religious Greek Orthodox members to pray for the health of a loved one. When the church has too many of the icons, they are given to a dealer in Tinos to sell them, which is how these icons were acquired over a period of many years beginning in about 1980.
